We made it an absolute must, to stop at Indian Peaks RV park after reading the Chihuahua review. Laughter drove us here and we did not regret our choice. The attorney who over sees the park for the Paiute Band is Canadian Indian. He is very stern but very sweet. Trailer trash, unruly children, animal filth and racism will NOT be tolerated on his watch. We arrived when all of the sage bushes were in fall bloom. The grounds and the peaks were simply beautiful. The peaks hike we took was just what was needed after a long drive south. The park is very quiet and the skies at night are absolutely breath-taking. No fires allowed when we arrived though. The laundry facility is normally priced and clean. The bathrooms and showers are neat and clean. We love this RV park and will return.
Love this park. It has very good management, excellent views and plenty of access for hiking and exploring around. It's a quiet park, has bathrooms, showers, laundry, dining room and plenty of items for sale in the main office. I would highly recommend this park to anyone. There are plenty of very nice people around and several individuals that will go above and beyond to help you out. You can't beat this price, anywhere around in this area! I am very pleased.
I arrived at the RV park this weekend with my travel trailer. The staff was very friendly, the restrooms and showers are very clean, they have laundry facilities and hiking trails. This RV park is pet friendly and the LGBT community is very welcome here. Easy off the highway access. Did I mention the night skies are AMAZING!
Just arrived at the RV park with my 5th wheel. The management was very accommodating, the prices are cheaper then anywhere else around and the electricity is included in the pricing. The restrooms and showers are very clean! The views are amazing. I am pretty impressed with this easy off the highway RV park.
Very clean and very quiet RV Park just south of Cedar City. They accommodated our toy hauler nicely. We hiked the trails connected to the RV park and then took our motor bikes over the mountain to enjoy the rest of the reservation as well. The Paiute tribe takes such pride in their land. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful place to stay outside Cedar City. Beautiful mountain backdrop, clean bathrooms and showers. I stayed her for 2 weeks and photographed the national parks and trails close to the RV Park. The night skies are amazing here. Very little road noise. Awesome people running the park. I will for sure, stay here again at this beautiful little place. Thank you!
Excellent RV park outside Cedar City UT. The restrooms and sowers are extremely clean. The RV lots are a little un-level, but I was told that this is Indian peaks and not Indian flats. The manager and his crew came over and dug a 2 inch trench for my tire and that leveled me perfectly. Very accommodating manager, he even went to the store to buy me a regulator and new hose because my hose was, as he put it "cheap". They have very high water pressure, so be warned. The park is clean. No one has rubbish laying about. Even the month to month people kept their lots nice and tidy. Which gave the appearance that everyone was just passing through. No dogs barking or children screaming. VERY QUIET place! I will definitely stay here again when I head back down south.
We absolutely loved our stay at Indian Peaks RV Park. They accommodated our Class A very nicely for 2 weeks. Manager was very helpful with our setup. Much appreciated as it was in the twilight hours when we arrived. Enjoyed the hike up the mountain with our 2 Choc Labs. Very clean restrooms and showers. We did not need the laundry facilities, but they are available with coin. There is an amazing hike down the road about 2 miles also. Spring Creek trail head, just past Kanarraville on the left. We will definitely stay here at this quiet starlight filled park again.
Very clean restrooms, extremely quiet RV park and friendly people. I will be staying here again for sure. I was not able to have a camp fire because of the local fire restrictions, but that was OK with me because the stars made my nights perfect! Best full service RV prices in Cedar City.
I have been here at Indian Peaks for a month and I have decided to stay the winter because their prices cannot be beat anywhere around Cedar City. The facilities are very clean. The bathrooms are stocked and tidy. The laundry offers coin machines. Electric is included in the full hook-up price. The hiking trails here are beautiful. The park offers many different discounts. The tribe is very strict on how old a RV must be to stay here and they are extremely strict on how your lot is to be kept clean. Indian Peaks is a very quiet RV park, there are no children screaming and no dogs barking. I LOVE this place.
We just spent Thanksgiving with my grandchildren at Indian Peaks RV Park. We were so very lucky to get over a foot of snow. We had such a great time playing. The facilities were outstanding. Everything was extremely clean. The staff was so very helpful. Our family will definitely stay here again.
We were heading through the state and just needed a place to stay for the night. We liked it so much that we stayed two nights and used it as our jumping off point to Zion. We got a 30 amp site to save a few dollars. Destiny is very nice! He helped us check in and offered free drinks and ice. I asked him what time checkout was and he said "I'm not going to chase anyone out of here." Very nice place overall! Oh yeah, only complaint would be that our sewer hookup was a little uphill from our RV. It was lower than our RV, but I had to pick up the hose to drain it when we were packing up. Definitely not a deal breaker. Good Verizon and AT&T signal.
A hidden gem, just south of Cedar City. We tend to commute between Salt Lake City and Kingman AZ lately... and finding a nice place to stop has been a challenge - until this visit. We called to see if there was space - and a nice person answered the phone, answered questions and got to know us with a few questions too... We stayed last night and it was a great experience. Our dogs loved the adjacent area to the north, we loved the quiet atmosphere and Destiny, the Park Manager was "first class" friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a "resort" with a heated pool, spa and clubhouse with a tended bar and things to entertain the kiddos - maybe not here... but if you enjoy the quiet, dark sky's at night and maintained water/sewer/electrical hookups, this checked all of our boxes.
The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The entire campground- from showers to laundry facility- is in very clean condition, well maintained and supplies stocked, even had soft drinks and water bottles, and bags of ice available at no extra charge. A full load of laundry cost under $3! I highly recommend this spot.
Cleanest RV Park in Cedar City UT! They offer everything ya need. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. They have a game room and hiking trails. The trails light up at night too. Dog stations throughout the park are available as well. Definitely WILL Return!
This RV park is amazing! It's consistently clean, the sites are well maintained. Being at the base of a mountain, the views and the trails are incredible. People have complained on here about the sites not being level, but if you just ask the park manager for help or advice, he has always been super helpful. It is seriously a great place to stay!
Some of the friendliest and accommodating folks I have ever experienced at any RV park. The grounds are kept pristine, the bathrooms and showers spotless, and most importantly of all? They prevent rif-raf from coming into and staying at the park. I love the fact they not only have rules, but enforce them! Keep up the GREAT work Indian Peaks, it was my pleasure to have the opportunity to visit YOUR land, and I 100% plan on returning!!
An absolutely beautiful RV park just south of Cedar City. Destiny told us our 42 foot Class A Tiffin would not level on the only lot he had left. He was very honest about this issue but we tried the lot out and I had to use 2 blocks until auto leveling went smooth. I know most would find this a hassle but it was worth the extra 8 minutes to spend a week here. The park facilities are perfectly cleaned daily as it seems Destiny is freaked out about travelers germs and has no problem telling everyone to clean up after themselves. They have walking trails that light up at night and the park is very dark for star gazing. Thank you Destiny for allowing us to stay. Amazing manager and AMAZING park!
This was a wonderful place to stay! Very clean and well managed! Good cell service, and close to Kolob Canyon and Kanarra Falls for hiking. Easy access to small city of Cedar City.. Destiny is very nice to work with, and the price is very good, too. We will definitely stay here again!
Indian Peaks is great location. We used it as home base for Cedar Breaks, must see, Brian Head another must go. Zion and Bryce NP. all with in a 1/2 or full day day drive. All brand new full hook ups. There are 2 trails out back of park. They are lite for easy night walking to go up to picnic table and star gazing is amazing. Destiny is great host. We liked it so much we extended our stay. Thank you for a great vacation spot.!!!!!
Destiny saved the day! We were traveling North on 89 and planned on taking Route 14 to Route 15 exit 51. A signed displayed prior turning onto this route “not recommended for tractor trailers” to travel this road. We are a fifth wheel. That would mean us too. We called Indian peaks and Destiny googled a new route for us. We arrived safely. The campground is clean. The office, laundry and bathroom’s look new. Free ice was a huge plus for our day trips. Destiny recommended we take Route 14 to Zion National Park. What a beautiful drive with hidden stops along the way. Lake Navajo was beautiful!!! Sections of Lava rocks and more. Thank you for an enjoyable stop.
So much better than I expected! Everything was clean, organized, and efficient. They are clear with the rules and make it easy to know what their expectations are. Showers are spacious and spotless, and we got sodas and waters upon our arrival! Honestly I am blown away by the management and hospitality of Indian Peaks RV, highly recommend to anyone who is headed to Zion or surrounding sights!
Entire park and facilities were extremely clean. Staff was welcoming and even included complimentary soap, keychain, sanitizing wipes, drinks and free ice- an extremely nice surprise and perk I haven’t received at any other RV park. Remember that you are on sovereign land, respect the rules and you will have an excellent time.
Great place to stay! They were the only ones to find us a spot when we needed one at the last minute. Very friendly customer service and very accommodating. Quiet and clean facilities! Beautiful views. Easy access off the freeway. Will definitely be back in the future.
The owner's of this park have definitely paid Attention to Detail. It's clean, quiet, and very well managed. Lots are well spaced and the Staff is extremely welcoming. The views are wonderful from the trails built onto the property. And they are lit at night. Stargazing is excellent as the Milky Way is visible with the naked eye most nights. Low lighting and quiet time rules in the evening ensure everyone can enjoy the Night. Remember, this location is in The Paiute Nation. Respect for the Tribe, your area/actions, and your neighbors is the Law of the Land.
Our stay at the Indian Peaks RV park was such a great experience. Everything you need on site including clean bathrooms, showers, laundry, gameroom, and a staff that takes great pride in making your stay better than you could imagine. Walking and hiking trails feet from where we stayed with views from out of this world. Thank You for hosting us and looking forward to seeing you again!
Nicest RV Park we've ever stayed in. Destiny and son work hard to keep everything running smoothly. Constantly cleaning facilities. Great showers, laundry room, game room and free water in office. Spaces are not too close to each other. Hiking right out our trailer door. We would highly recommend Indian peaks RV. We will return!
Absolutely refreshing to stay at an RV Park with rules that everyone follows. I am so grateful the Tribal Elders allowed me to stay a month on their reservation. The park is clean, quiet and friendly. The host is extremely strict and that is why I will be returning to Indian Peaks. Thank you and God bless.
